Can't get bing off computer

I have macOS Catalina 10.15.2 2015. I must've downloaded something for free and now I can't get bing off. Safari is my usual search engine, but now it redirects to bing. I have tried MANY things. Any suggestions?

You mean you downloaded “something” without even knowing what you downloaded? That is the number one way to get infested with malware. There is a recommended app for finding and removing malware... MalwareBytes. You can download it and use the free option to manually scan your system to find and delete any evil software you may have installed.

Try it using the free option. If it saves your butt consider paying for a 1 year subscription for 24/7 automatic scanning.
