Final Cut Pro X Library Damaged

Dear All! First off, Happy New Year!!!

I am having an issue with Final Cut Pro X 10.4.6

One of my libraries got Damaged and I can't seem to get it back on track.

If I open one of the backups it brings me back a couple of days. If I select continue, at some point I can't bring back my changes. At one point I worked for 5 days and it was bringing back the current changes but yesterday it just didnt anymore.

This happened to me when I was working one day and the external disconnected.

Any words of advice will be appreciated. How do I get this Library back to normal or do I create a new one and continue working.

BTW, there are 25GB remaining in my drive and yes, I back up the drive regularly. Just don't want to continue being annoyed by loosing 2 days of work or all these backups.

The "damage" is anyone's guess.

You talked about a disconnection to the external drive; what occurred?

Do you know the formatting of this eternal?

I am confused as of what to do next and what is exactly damaged. I continue working from here and the data is there but last time there was a point that I continued and I lost two days of work. Oh yes, my original backup directory included about ten of the backup files.

I restored it however there are 4 files. How do I get back to normal?

The files have different sizes starting with the one that supposedly is damaged to 3 more that appear to be backups.

HaelVoicesoftheBadgers 20191225_1213_EST.fcpbundle - 447MB

What do I do with these files?

These files are Database files that are time stamped.

For example:

HaelVoicesoftheBadgers 20191225_1213_EST 1.fcpbundle - 369MB

The above backup was created on the 25th December 2019 at 12: 13pm Eastern Standard Time. This is how to decipher the numbers.

A backup can be opened in the Timeline as a normal library and you can continue work. Note: The files, wherever they are stored need to be connected. Backups files contain NO media files. Rename if you like to reflect the original Library.

Usually you would use the latest working version of a backup.

There is something weird going on because all the shown backups have the same time of day???

The normal backup interval is 15 minutes when you are working on a Project.

Use Option-Command as you launch FCP X to reset the FCP X preferences.

Then open one of the backups to continue.

That's never a good thing.

How about the drives formatting?

Click the drive icon and select Get Info.

Formatting will be there.

I also ran first aid from the disk Utility and it found no issues. So there must be a file that was not written correctly in the original library. How to find that and merge all files into a consolidated libary would be the question.
