New Macbook pro 16" shows vertical bright color shades

It is only 20 days i got my new Macbook pro 16" laptop. I am experiencing issues with it.

1) Experiencing a bright white Color overlay over my screen which is vertical shape. I bought my first Macbook after a seemly experience on my work laptop.

2) Takes time in switching between tabs on my chrome browser, which is not acceptable with this performant laptop.

I never used it for long hours, to think of any heat issues. It seems the product itself is damaged one. What shall i do to resolve this issue? Recording screen or taking screen shot is not showing the line. So attaching a photo of the screen.
