iTunes moving downloading in HLS format from iTunes store

I recently bought Dora and the Lost City of Gold for my kids. From my iMac I normally download the HD copy and then when the kids rewatch several times, its stored locally on my Mac. I couldn't figure out why it wasn't showing up on my Apple TV via homesharing. I see it just fine on my iMac in the "TV" app and can play it.

Upon further investigation when I download a copy of the movie, it's downloading in .HLS format direct from the iTunes store. Apparently the Apple TV doesn't list these types of movies when I view my home sharing library. Is there any fix for this?

TLDR: New Dora movie downloads in HLS format, Apple TV doesnt "see" it in my homesharing library. All other movies are displaying perfectly fine.

Same problem here. HLS video downloaded onto my MacBook, but via Home Sharing that video is not visible on any other device -- Apple TV, iPad or iPhone. Apple has really screwed up video sharing with the latest releases of MacOS and iOS.
