Internet connected. Mail working. Can’t access websites. Can’t access Apple Store
On my MacBook I am evidently connected to the internet. All mail (Gmail) is sending and receiving in Mail and Dropbox is syncing perfectly. I cannot browse the internet though on Chrome or Safari, even though there is definitely an internet connection. Also, when trying to check for updates I am not connecting to the App Store.
When trying to access any website the response is as per the image below for any website I try to access. It’s the same response on Safari.
It is worth noting that it probably has nothing to do with firewalls or proxies. All other devices work on my home network and my laptop does not work on any other network either in the same way (tried using my phone network and another WiFi network)... again worth mentioning that Mail is syncing and Dropbox is syncing just fine. Downloading any software that can help or downloading another browser is also not an option as I cannot access any websites.
Very confused. I hope someone can help.
Thanks
MacBook, macOS 10.12
