I’ve gotten a email saying that my Apple ID account has been used on another device and it’s asking to verify my account asking for my social and stuff I’m a bit confused and want to make sure it’s legit

It's not from Apple (they have no use for your 'social and stuff'), it's a phishing email - you could forward it to Apple : reportphishing@apple.com , and then delete it.
