Anyone else's iPhoto not working now? Not compatible with Catalina? SOOO what do we do now; Apple is the developer.

Well thank you, Terrence. I followed your instructions and it worked beautifully. I only hope when you're 76 and trying to keep up with the latest technology, someone shows you your same "kindness."

Absolutely everyone's.

Not compatible with Catalina?

Correct. As was clearly announced before the release of Catalina.

What you could have done at any point in the past 4+ years - since iPhoto was discontinued. It is no longer developed or sold. It was replaced by the more powerful (and free) Photos.app that comes with the OS. You can migrate to that app very simply:

Hold down the option (or alt) key and launch Photos. From the resulting menu select 'Choose Library' and point at your iPhoto Library. It will do the rest.

If you prefer not to use Photos there are several 3rd party apps that you can use. Which to choose depends on the kind of photographer you are and your budget.

Apple is the developer.

An astute observation.
