iMessage Delivery

i sent an iMessage & it didn’t deliver. Meaning the message had nothing under it, not even the red “Not Delivered !” However, hours later, it is still not delivered but when I sent out another iMessage, the second message delivered. Does that mean the first message I sent delivered along with the second message that delivered? Hope this makes sense!!

Probably yes.

If the recipient is not in the internet coverage area the message though will reach the Apple server but not the recipient's device for which it is intended (assuming the recipient has only one device).
