Hi

I would like to find out if the hardware warranty covers the screen as well as my screen has cracked and my device is still under warranty.

Warranty doesn't cover accidental damage and that is the cause of most screen cracks.

If you purchased AppleCare+, that does cover up to 2 incidents of accidental damage.
