Keynote slide transition

Hi, I'm trying to set up a Keynote presentation to run automatically on my Mac.

I have mp4 format movies (of around 2 minutes each) embedded in several slide, followed by a slide with text, each time. At the end of the movie, I'd like to transition to the next slide, without having to click.

I've tried adding a time to the Build Out option on the Stop Movie effect. However, if I:

  • add a time shorter than the movie, the slide transitions in the middle of the movie
  • add the time of the movie, the slide waits for the whole time at the end of the movie before moving on.

I'm missing something. Can anyone help, please?

Hi, I continued to search round the help - and found the answer.

I'd set the movie to transition, not the slide itself. It's simply that you set the slide to transition for the length, in seconds, of the movie.

Sounds simple - as is any question when you know the answer!
