Remote iPad passcode change

Can I remotely change the passcode of an iPad if I can log into the iCloud website account for that device?

You cannot change iPad’s passcode remotely.

The screen lock passcode on an iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch can only be changed on the device itself with it in your hands. It can only be reset by erasing the device with iTunes (or Finder in MacOS Catalina). That screen lock passcode is stored locally on the device itself (and nowhere else) and has nothing to do with your iCloud account at all.
