Can I upgrade from OSX10.12.6 to OS X 10.13 on my mid 2011 I Mac? Need to upload TurboTax and it needs an upgrade to do so

Yes, any Mac running Sierra can also run High Sierra.

Yes, the last update that 2011 iMacs can accomodate is 10.13.6, you will not be able to update beyond that. You should begin making plans to replace the computer as it is is 10 years old, parts are very difficult to get and it is rapidly becoming outdated on software.


If you do decide to upgrade please update all your apps to 64 bit (some you may need to replace with alternatives) as Catalina 10.15.x will only run 64 bit applications.
