Safari hangs on many programs

Ever since installing the latest version of the Mac OS on my 2014 iMac, I find that Safari constantly hangs on such websites as Yahoo Finance and Seeking Alpha. It seems to get worse every time I restart. The answer to previous complaints, which recommends steps to help with a particular Apple program, doesn't seem relevant to this problem, as I have not tried to access other Apple programs with this version of Safari. I am currently running Catalina 10.15.3, Safari 13.0.5

Are you running any anti - virus programs? Using a VPN?

Try setting up another admin user account in System Preferences/Users & Groups to see if the same problem continues.

If it works in the Safe Mode, try running this program when booted normally and then copy and paste the output in a reply. The program was created by Etresoft, a frequent contributor. Please use copy and paste as screen shots can be hard to read. Click “Share Report” button in the toolbar, select “Copy to Clipboard” and then paste into a reply. This will show what is running on your computer. No personal information is shown. If the log won’t post, try posting it in Pastebin and provide a link in a reply. After pasting the report in a PasteBin page, go to the top of the page, and copy the address in the URL bar. Paste that in a new reply. Pastebin. https://pastebin.com/

I'm running a brand new iMac Pro with macOS Catalina 10.15.3 and have the same problem. Today's "stalls" on Ebay, and Fender, Google, and Yahoo websites, --bring my Mac to a standstill from which only a hard restart can recover. When I try one of these sites the status bar gets to 10% of loading and stalls. Clicking outside of the Safari window gets the beach-ball-of-death. I've tried all the recommended fixes, safe mode restarts, and even re-installed my system software. I have no Safari extensions running and have scanned for malware, viruses, etc. I'm totally at a loss.
