Font Management in FontBook

I just installed the current Photoshop update which quits when I select the font tool. I believe I may have some bad fonts, all of which I manage with FontBook. (I searched for an Apple Community FontBook Specific Forum -but that doesn't seem to exist here). I can't find a way to display only active fonts, or when fonts were installed/made active. Is this possible? I. E.: I would like to enable a view that would display only active fonts & when they were made active.

I suspect that I will have to disable all fonts, except for necessary standard system fonts. Is there a procedure to deactivate all fonts EXCEPT standard system fonts? Or do I disable all fonts, then "Restore Standard Fonts"?

Thanks

I resolved the issue with "Restore Standard Fonts" and disabling invalid fonts..
