Is there a command to move to next column when hitting return in a certain cell of a previous column?

In order to speed up data entry, I would like to be able to, for example, move to cell C4 after hitting 'return' in cell B11.

Hi Joe,

When entering data in a row, you can press tab to confirm an entry and move the the next cell on that row. When you get to the last entry on that row, press return instead of tab, and you'll be returned to the cell immediately below the one where you made the first entry. This is an automatic function, which sets the return column and returns you to it only if you do not break the pattern described.

Unfortunately, there is no similar feature for entry of data in columns.

Not quite as nice, but workable in the top set of games is this:

After your last entry in B11:

Press command-up arrow

right arrow

down arrow*

down arrow*

down arrow*

begin entries on column C

Using return instead of down arrow appears to work as well. Apparently using right arrow, and NOT tab, breaks the pattern that wold take you back to column B on the first return.

Regards,

Barry

here are the options I known of:

<return> moves to the next row

<option> + <return> moves to the previous row

<tab> moves to the next column

<option> + <tab> moves to the previous column

<command>+ <right arrow> moves to the last column

<command>+ <left arrow> moves to the first column

<command>+ <up arrow> moves to the first row

<command>+ <down arrow> moves to the last row

Is there a command to move to next column when hitting return in a certain cell of a previous column?
