Lost AirPods and case

My daughter has lost her AirPods and I wonder if there is any way to trace where she last had them? They are showing on find devices as no location found - is there any way to see the last place they connected?

if they are being used by someone else would we still see them on find devices?

thanks

Airpods do not have GPS or cellular radios in them.

They do not connect to any network.

Once you leave bluetooth range of the device they are connected to or the battery dies, they can't be tracked.
