iPad Pro 12.9 FILES APP: why would you use "on my ipad" when everything is on icloud drive? i guess i am asking how do i use the "on my ipad" option....need tips. Thanks

Whatever is in the “on my iPad folder is accessible without WiFi. It is already on your device, hence the terminology, “on my iPad”. Sometimes that comes in handy.


Anything than you can “save to” using the share sheet option for the Files App can be saved to that folder.
