IF I BUY A SIM FREE IPHONE IN US, CAN I USE IT OUTSIDE THE UNITED STATES?

Yes, but the warranty will only be valid in the US and it may not work with all LTE carriers outside of the US.

Also note, only Apple sells unlocked iPhones. Not Walmart, not Best Buy.
