Can't read emails

On my Mac I can see email text on the sidebar, but nothing on the main page,

iMac 27", macOS 10.15

Thank you for reaching out to Apple Support Communities. 


I see that you are having an issue with emails on your Mac. You are able to see text in the preview at the side, but not in the main email. I want to help. Have you tried restarting and checking again? Also, I would recommend making sure that your macOS is updated to the most recent version of Catalina. Here’s How to update the software on your Mac - Apple Support It’s always a good idea to back up your Mac before updating. 


If the issue persists after updating, let's see if the issue happens inside safe mode. Here are a few quick notes about safe mode:


- Safe mode often looks and responds a bit different than what you're used to.


- Safe mode does not load everything that normally loads during a regular startup.


- Safe mode is a bit slower while loading and during normal operation as well.


- These differences can be cleared-up by a normal restart.


Here's how to boot into safe mode and Use safe mode to isolate issues with your Mac - Apple Support


Does the issue happen in safe mode? If not, restart again and try in typical mode. Just booting into safe mode in and of itself can resolve some issues.
