Unable to install windows with a late 2011 MBP , windows 10

I tried installing windows 10 on my Mac but the CD drive isn't working anymore so I used a workaround that involves editing the info.plist of the bootcamp assistant app to trick the app into letting me create a bootable windows installer on usb

Now that that's done, I ran into a black screen with a command prompt that no disks were found, upon restart I found the Macintosh hd and efi boot in boot selector, in the efi boot, trying to install windows spits an error that the bootcamp partition was built with MBR and that windows needs GPT.

Any way I can install windows without depending on the CD drive??
