Safari Extremely Slow Loading Sites After 10.15.4

So I just updated to 10.15.4, and Safari is extremely laggy when loading sites. If there is any sort of design feature of a site (background video) it simply does not load at all. For some sites it takes about 5 minutes to load. Anybody else seeing this?

In addition, the cursor and keyboard just stop working until I close Safari down. So for exmaple, I type in google.com. The site appears but I cannot type or use the mouse anywhere on the site. Eventually it kicks in where the site works, but probably after 30-90 seconds.

Firefox is fine and so is Chrome.
