Dell B1160w laser printer will not work with my MBP

And NO ONE has a driver for it? How can this be? It used to work with my MBP-- reconnected it just now because other printer is out of toner.

And I got an error message that it will not work and to contact mfr (dell?)

And on dell's support site, they have posted a message:

"Dell is aware that there are no laser printer drivers for Mac OS 10.15 also known as Mac OS Catalina. Due to circumstances beyond our control Dell will not be able to offer Laser printer drivers for macOS Catalina.

Can someone please explain this to me? How can these companies (Apple and Dell) not provide a driver?

MacBook Pro 13", macOS 10.15

Apple supports AirPrint-enabled printers and multifunction devices. There are only 5884 of them from which to choose. The Dell B1160w is not among them.

It's up to printer manufacturers to implement AirPrint in their products, or not. It would appear Dell is no longer interested in supporting that printer.
