Which volume to split into another APFS for Dual Boot

I want to Dual boot my Mac so that I have Mojave and Catalina on the same device. My Mac is currently running Catalina, and with that it brought 2 volumes: Macintosh HD and Macintosh HD-Data. Which volume do i use to add another APFS Volume to dual boot my mac? Thank you.

MacBook Air 13", macOS 10.15

You don’t need to split either. They both reside in the same container and share the same storage. Just follow John Galt’s link to add another Volume to the container.
