If this is an email you received, has your credit card been charged? Are you sure the message is legitimate? Does it contain a link for you to sign in somewhere? It may be a scam. Check your purchases history.

Purchase History Review.

Apple will always address you by your name or the name they have on file for you, not Dear Customer, Dear Client or by using your e-mail address.  The e-mail will be from @apple.com or @iTunes.com. E-mail addresses can be spoofed. You can go to Mail/View/Message/Show all Headers to see more. Apple e-mails will never contain an attachment. Apple will never request personal information by email such as Social Security numbers, your Mother’s maiden name or full credit card numbers .

The only exception to the above I have noticed is if you order something from the Apple Store (apple.com), your receipt will be addressed to Dear Apple Customer. That is a receipt for a purchase you initiated.

Avoid phishing emails, fake ‘virus‘ alerts, phony support calls, and other scams.

Identifying legitimate emails from the iTunes Store.

Send the e-mail to Apple as an attachment to a new e-mail before deleting it. You can forward as an attachment by going to Mail/Message/Forward as attachment. Or control - click on the email and select Forward as attachment. Make sure you send it as an attachment to a new email. If you just forward it, it will probably be rejected. You won’t receive a response.

Heyy, this is not Apple but Apple Community. It is a collection of individuals that answer's other people's question, maybe just for fun.

But if you want to cancel the order (refund), please follow the instructions provided by Apple on below:

  1. Go to reportaproblem.apple.com
  2. Sign in with your Apple ID and password.
  3. If you see the "Report" or "Report a Problem" button next to the item that you want to request a refund for, click it.
  4. Follow the instructions on the page to choose the reason why you want a refund and submit your request.

You did not order this. We get it. You did not order this. You probably got some mail. Mail which has possibly bedazzled your thinking. Because you think something has been ordered. Was it really ordered? Maybe the mail is a scam? There are many of these scams right now. Many. Bedazzling everybody. Or trying to. Worse, some of these scam mail messages causing some folks to turn over their password credentials to the scammers. Seriously, yes, we get it, and we’re all a little stressed right now, and unfortunately the scammers (and the politicians, with “never let a good crisis go to waste“) are all looking to profit from our distraction. See if there’s really an order here. And if you clicked on a link in the mesage and logged in, change your Apple ID password right now.
