Malware/Remote Desktop/Keylogger

I received an email today saying someone placed malware on a website and was able to access my web browser through the malware acting as a Remote Desktop and a keylogger which provided this person with access to my display screen and webcam...I was using my iPhone. The email then says this person was able to collect my contacts from my messenger, facebook, and email account and have my passwords. They did reference part of a fairly common password I typically use. Now they are asking for bitcoin. Is this possible through my iPhone? Or is this a typical scam? Help please!
