My mom gave me her old iphone. She still remembers the apple id password but her icloud account was locked due to secutiry reasons. she cannot remember the password and the receipt of the phone was lost. I was able tu log in my apple id but when i tried to update the apps, App Store still asks for my mom's apple id. How do I change this to my own apple id?

Those purchases are tied to the other ID and can't be transferred. One option is to delete the apps/purchases made by the other ID and download them using the new ID if desired. If necessary, check your purchases history to see which apps/purchases weren’t made by the current ID.
