Mac mail folders have lost recent content but my iPhone mail folders all ok

Hi,


My Mac mail folders have lost their recent content but my iPhone mail folders all ok how do I synch my iPhone folders to make my Mac folders up to date? This happened on my mac after the recent OS update. Thank you.

iMac 27", macOS 10.15

Safe Boot from the HD, (holding Shift key down at startup), does the problem occur in Safe Mode?


Safe mode attempts to repair Disks & clears lots of caches, so if Safe Mode works try again in regular boot.
