How do I know if my iPhone 11 is unlocked?

I purchased my iPhone directly from Apple. At the time I believed it to be unlocked. How can I determine whether or no it is actually unlocked?

If you paid full price and did not finance it with a carrier it should be unlocked. You can use the Contact Support link at the top of this page and ask the Apple tech. They can look it up.
