My AirPods are making a choppy/crackly noise when playing music connected to my iMac

My AirPods are making a choppy/crackly noise when playing music connected to my iMac, the problem started recently, but I've only had the AirPods for just under a year.

Does anybody know how to fix this problem? They are 2nd generation AirPods with wireless charging case if that helps.

Thanks :)

Hello,

It could be wireless interference. See this:

Good luck.
