Iphone 8 screen turns black while watching videos

I was watching videos on FB when my iphone screen flickered a sec, then went black screen. I can hear calls or messages but with a hard reset or a factory restore not able to bring back the display on the screen.

Note, there was not even a single drop or water damage on the phone which is why it's surprising me on the cause of getting a black screen. And the iphone has been a month and a half old only.

The quality of Iphone seems to deteriorate a lot with years passed by.

Techs could you please help.

Restart the device. That's it.
Still not solved --> Force restart iPhone - Apple Support
Follow the Apple article to resolve the issue --> If your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch won't turn on or is frozen ...

You still see a black screen after charging, force restarting, following the steps in this article.
You see a black screen, but you can hear alerts, sounds, and vibrations.
The screen remains black, but the device chirps when you unmute it and connect it to power.
Your screen is on, but it doesn't respond when you tap, slide, or try other gestures.
You can't force your device to restart because a button is broken or stuck.
Your device is stuck on the Apple logo, displays a solid color, or isn't recognized in iTunes.

Thanks for the detailed steps and help.

I have tried rebooting the device but still see the dark screen and not the apple logo. Also tried restoring from iTunes, it didnot help, then should I be assuming its an hardware issue?
