i am facing issues with my iphone battery charge after update 13.4.1, charging doesn't go way beyond 85% no matter how i tried, whenever i soft reset the phone; percentage gets raised couple points and then deplete very fast again. is this a bug in the software or what?
Have you tried going to Settings>Battery>Battery Health... then tap there and DISABLE Optimized Battery Charging? When done, restart your iphone, then try to charge it all night long.
Also, since you're there, what's the maximun capacity % shown there?

Restart your iPhone, and let it charge all night long, putting it in airplane mode.
Check the situation tomorrow morning (disabling airplane mode, of course).

Tried to disable it but not leaving it all night long. Max capacity shown at 88%

Thank you so much! it worked, recharged to 100% but restarting the phone turned on optimized battery charging.
