Installing an antivirus software in Macbook

Hello,

I know this is well discussed issue, but whats your recent experiences, thoughts and practices? Do you suggest to install antivirus softwares for home Macbook users?

These two useful items often recommended in Apple support communities

and these both were created by active participants in these communities.


Fairly good removal can be had by use of free version, here:

https://www.malwarebytes.com/mac/


This other item can remove malware, adware; & create a report to share info.

https://etrecheck.com/index


Other items such as browser redirects, extension add-ons, and stuff that may

remain troublesome. ~ These items above tools sometimes can't resolve, have

their own removal methods; some are quite good, most require some effort.
