MacBook only showing a black screen

I was using my MacBook yesterday, when all of the sudden the screen became black. I restarted it and the screen kept staying black.

Now every time I power it on, I can hear the startup sound, but the screen remains black. From time to time, the screen starts working and it shows me the Recovery Password mode. Every time I restart it again though, what I see is the black screen only.

I've tried Recovery Mode multiple times, and it doesn’t work. From the Recovery Password mode, I can see that the MacBook detects the SSD.

I think this might be a problem with the SSD though. Any advice?

Thank you!

Try resetting NVRAM and SMC.

Does it work correctly if you start in Safe Mode?

If the problem persists, start in Recovery and use Disk Utility to test your drive.
