Is it advisable to delete obsolete iOS backups from my Mac?
I have iOS backups on my Mac from phones I no loner own. Can I can I safely delete these?

Yes. Delete them if you do not need them. Select/Right Click/Delete. Done.

Yes, as long as your current device(s) have been backed up.
Yes you can. There is no reason to keep them unless you see yourself ever restoring your phone with one of the backups.
