After ISO update Amazon Music is flat and has no tone on CarPlay. How can this be fixed? I've updated all firmware on head unit, EQ setting on phone, removed and installed the Amazon app on the phone. It sound fine when ran through Bluetooth.

After ISO update Amazon Music is flat and has no tone on CarPlay. How can this be fixed? I've updated all firmware on head unit, EQ setting on phone, removed and installed the Amazon app on the phone. It sound fine when ran through Bluetooth. As soon as I plug it back in its back to flat music, so I can either use car play apps and XM or stream music Bluetooth and not use apps.

Thanks for the help, I found another thread that others are having the same problem on multiple units, factory installed and aftermarket, that have gone wonkey after the ISO update. Looks like its a bigger problem across a different units. Its got to be a compatibility issue in CarPlay its self.

When the device is plugged into CarPlay, then sound settings are based on the head unit, not the phone itself. I suggest you contact the manufacturer to ask them about it, or check with Amazon's app support.

If you are playing it through CarPlay, have you checked the sound settings in your head unit to see if you have adjustments for bass, treble, and midtone?

Yep, tried custom EQ and preset settings with no change, just flat music. Almost like its in ATT mode but only when lighting cable is plugged in.
