iCloud extra storage

Can 2 different Apple ID's share the same extra iCloud storage? We have the family sharing turned on.

Yes if you have a 200 GB or larger storage plan. See information in Share an iCloud storage plan with your family - Apple Support

Note that the storage for each Apple ID will still be separate and private but there will only be one billing for storage.
