How do I use my Apple Pencil to swipe up on the screen

Unfortunately, you can’t; there isn’t an equivalent/corresponding gesture to summon the Home Screen or Task Switcher with the Apple Pencil.
At present, you must either use the appropriate upward-swipe gestures with your finger - or, if your iPad has a Home Button, single or double-click respectively.
