apple watch

My watch has quit showing notifications or anything, when lifting my arm to look at watch face. Settings are on for wake screen to appear when crown up, but nothing. I have to press crown for face to appear and to check any notifications or see anything

The first (and simplest) thing to try if something isn’t working right is to restart your Apple Watch and its paired iPhone. If necessary (device not responding), try a forced restart. Both methods can be found here:

If that doesn't help, the next steps would be to unpair and pair your watch again and restore from the backup:
