  • Apple TV asks for Apple ID password, enter it.
  • An authentication code will be sent to your iPhone or iPad or Mac.
  • Apple TV asks for the Apple ID password again, enter it followed by the authentication code. For example if your Apple ID password is XYZ123 and the authentication code is 4567 enter XYZ1234567
  • Do this quickly or it will time out!

Great, glad you got it figured out. Remember to keep all of your logins and passwords in a safe place. What I and many other people do is use an App for doing that. I happen to use 1Password to manage the hundreds of logins and passwords I have. There are other similar tools, I just happen to like 1Password and have it for my iPad and iPhone but if you use other devices it will load on them as well.
