I put a bunch of photos from my mac onto a flashdrive so I could delete them to free up space. Now a year or two later I am getting around to printing those photos and some are missing. Since I deleted them so long ago is there any way I can get them back?

Not using Photos - the 'recently deleted' album purges after 30-40 days. A backup would be the only way.
