Cannot set up ‘Hey Siri!’

Hi everyone!

So, Siri was working fine on my iPhone XR until the last update when somehow Hey Siri turned off. Now, whenever I try to turn it back on, I am told to train Siri for my voice, which inevitably fails everytime. I’ve tried on both WiFi and LTE, cleared Siri and Dictation history and rebooted my phone, but all in vain. Can someone help me out? Thanks in advance.

PS I’m on iOS 13.5.1

Siri does not recognise voices. Even if you keep your iPhone near a TV it will fetch sound and voices from TV and respond with what ever it interprets.

Siri was never designed on an iPhone for recognising voices. When you enable "Hey Sir " it may ask you to say few words and phrases just to understand you better but never to recognise your voice.

Siri uses speech recognition and not voice recognition
