Finder looks strange - I can't change the size of the columns etc

Hi All,

Since I updated my Mac with macOS Catalina 10.15.5, finder looks like this (see both images below). For some reasons I can't change the size of the columns and it just looks very different in every views modes.

Does anyone would know what settings I need to change to have it back like before?

Thanks

Kani

Boot into Safe Mode (How to use safe mode on your Mac - Apple Support) by booting with the Shift key held down and see if you can set the column width there.  Reboot normally and test again.

NOTE: Safe Mode boot can take up to 10 minutes as it's doing some system cache cleaning, volume verifying and directory repairing.
