Should I get rid of Malwarebytes on my MacBook Air and get another virus/malware protection plan?

Is there a better protection plan for MacBook than Malwarebytes? Something that will be compatible and protect my computer?

The current version uses a kernel extension. MalwareBytes is aware of this and are working on a version that will work in the upcoming macOS 11, Big Sur.

For what you're doing now, it's nothing to be concerned about.

Malwarebytes is one of the few such apps people who have spent much time in these forums recommend. Even so, most of us just download the free version when we need it. There isn't a lot of need to get the paid version.
