I brought a iPad AIR 3 with only WLAN functions, but the technicians told me I could put a SIM card slot inside the iPad after if I want to.
if it’s true, where do I get to do it? And plus what’s the price?

You can't add a SIM card slot to an iPad after purchase.
Possibly what the technicians meant is that if you buy a wi-fi plus cellular model iPad (which has a SIM slot), you can use it without a SIM card but add the SIM card later if you want to.
The only way you’d get cellular for that iPad is to look into something like a Mifi device - a portable wifi hotspot you can use to connect your ipad to.
NO. If the iPad Air is a Wifi only device, there is no sim card slot in it, nor can one be added after purchase.
