How do I make a DVD movie from MP4 or M4V files?
A cousin handed me four video DVDs that had been converted from old family movies. The movies were in MP4 format on the DVDs. I want to make copies of these DVDs to give to other family members. I've used Handbrake to convert the MP4s to M4V format (so they'd open in iMovie), but that's as far as I've gone.
My MacBook Pro runs Catalina ver 10.15.5. Of course, I don't have iDVD, but I do have an Apple Superdrive model A1379. I've searched the community for answers, but it seems most of the posts date back several years and aren't much help.
I hope someone can answer what looks to me like a simple project. I remember that older versions of iMovie would let me make DVDs of my projects, but no such tool is available in the current version. I don't see how to use Handbrake to do what I want to do, but surely there's a way to do it ... isn't there? I'm not trying to duplicate "The Godfather" or anything like that—these are simple family movies of people celebrating Christmas and birthdays.
