Green dot on my screen? What can it be?

So randomly that green spot shows up is there a way to get rid of it? Why is it there?

Hi XavierNila,

Thanks for using Apple Support Communities. It sounds like you’re having trouble with an unexpected green dot on your screen. We’re happy to help.

To start, try restarting your iPhone to see if the issue persists:

Restart your iPhone - Apple Support

If it does, we suggest reinstalling iOS to further isolate whether the issue is software related or not. While reinstalling iOS shouldn’t remove any data, it’s a good idea to have a recent backup:

How to back up your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch - Apple Support

To reinstall iOS, follow the steps in the article below under the section labeled “Put your device in recovery mode and set it up again”:

Let us know if that helps.

Take care.
