Can't update to High Sierra

I am running Sierra 10.12.6 on my late 2011 MacBook Pro. I need High Sierra to run a specific program. Based on what I've read my computer should be able to update to High Sierra but it can't. (High Sierra is not available in App Store for update - App Store automatically updates based on system preferences.. Restarting system doesn't fix the problem. I've tried a lot and can't seem to find a way to get the update.)

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 10.12

Back up your data, check your applications for compatibility, and download High Sierra through the link provided. It's a full-version upgrade, not an update.
