IF you were syncing to icloud read here Set up and use iCloud Photos - Apple Support

If you weren't syncing to icloud and backup to itunes or icloud then do this Restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch from a backup - Apple Support

If you didn't do any of the above then your pictures are gone.
