receiving texts

I'm brand new to Apple. I can't receive texts to my iPhone 11 from my husband's android. A blessing perhaps but I need to figure it out in case I'm missing other texts as well.

Texts to/from Android phones are sent/received using SMS, which is a cellular carrier function. Check with them if there are issues.
