Iphone SE 2020 with iOS 13.6. How do I copy/add phone numbers from a text message to existing contacts please? None of the answers that I have seen so far have helped.

Open Messages ➔ Tap on the Message ➔ Tap on the sender's Avatar (Top Center) ➔ Tap on Info ➔ Then you can create a new contact or add the number to an existing contact.

Sorry, I believe that this solution is for 1st Gen SE. Mine is 2nd gen and doesn't seem to follow the same instructions.
